DAY 1: HANOI - BAC YEN – TA XUA – HALF DAY TREKKING TOUR
This early morning, around 6a.m, our private driver and tour guide will pick you up in Hanoi. We start the drive through the green fields and lush tea plantations. At around noontime, you will arrive in Bac Yen district to have lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch, you continue to move to Ta Xua town. Check-in to your hostel and be ready for the interesting hike to the Hmong villages. You will be dropped off at Be village, the starting point of the hiking route, which is famous for old Shan Tuyet Tea trees.
 
On the first 03 km of dirt road through Be village, you will visit some local families and learn the traditional method of making tea in Mong Vang village. Then we will follow the trail the rice paddle fields. You will get to know about the daily life of local people farming & raising cattle. Continue our hike to the edge of the regenerated forest with a lot of strange plants, you will be rewarded by another stunning view of the rice terraces. We reach Mong Vang village in the late afternoon, where your day ends by visiting a local house and taste homemade tea.
Our private driver will pick you up in Mong Vang and return you to your hostel. We have dinner at homestay/hostel with the local famous black chicken hotpot. Over-night in Ta Xua.

DAY 2: TA XUA – HANG DONG – FULL DAY 12KM TREKKING
After a hot bowl of noodles at Thao Coffee, we start the full-day trekking tour. Our tour guide will prepare a picnic for groups. We start walking to the Ta Xua C through 2km on very small paved road. Step by step, the real-life of Hmong tribe will be revealed.
 
Getting out of the Ta Xua C Village, you will continue to move to Hang La area. You will have the chance to people farming on the rice terrace. After passing through about 3km of small dirt road with a slope down of 25%, we will come to Pe stream, the main water supplier of Hang La area. Following on this dirt road, you will able to see the best view of the rice paddy fields Hang La has to offer.
 
At the noontime, we will take a rest and have lunch on a green hill at the altitude of 1300m. Picnic lunch with Hmong sticky rice, chicken and seasonal fruits are served. Having a meal in the majestic surroundings will definitely a memorable experience (if the weather condition does not allow eating outside, you will eat inside the shack).
 
After lunch, we will trek 4km to Chong Cha village and finish the day trip with the last 4km of trail through the rice terraces. At around 15:30, our private driver will pick you up and transfer you to your homestay in Dinosaur Spine
 
The evening is your free time to discover the Dinosaur Spine area and Hang Dong Commune by yourself. You will have dinner and overnight at the homestay in Hang Dong Commune.

DAY 3: TA XUA – MORNING JUNGLE WALK – TA XUA FOREST EDGE – CLOUD HUNTING
This morning, after having breakfast by the shack of local people next to the Dinosaur Spine trail (sticky rice/ grilled meat), we will depart Hang Dong for Chong Cha village. Chong Cha means the Po Mu forest in Hmong language. If the weather condition is good, you will be able to see the expecting “cloud paradise” over Taxua valley. This place used to be the oldest and largest Po Mu forest in the Northwest loop. After nearly 2km, you will pass through the ancient forest edge, reaching a small peak at the height of 1600m (higher than the Dinosaur Spine). From here, you will be able to have a view of Dinosaur Spine amid the clouds.
 
Then, continue our short hike through the forest edge of Ta Xua, pass through huge trees that are 30-40 meters tall and other plants such as mushrooms, orchids, etc. On the last path, you will trek further to Chong Cha village and see the overview of Ta Xua terrace rice fields dotted with H’mong villages.
 
We back to the main road at early noon, board our vehicle, and back to Ta Xua town for our lunch at a local restaurant. After lunchtime, we drive back and arrive in Hanoi at around 20:00. End of our services.
